This is because conflict of Bootstrap 2 & 3. it is basically issue with templates BUT we are working on this to find some solution these modals can work independently without getting effected by templates styles.

We are releasing new version this week. We have escalated your issue and will definitely address a fix in upcoming version.

This problem is resolved in Version 1.4.4

In purity III template and other template also While checkout Edit of Billing or Shipping address is not functioning, Please note that this issue not for first time adding the address, when I try to edit the existing address page is becoming unresponsive.
