Server: shared online host
Problem: All kind of permissions are not accessible.
When I go to :
SETTINGS > PERMISSIONS
And in the suspended menu choose any "User Category" get a 404 error (attached image).
I saw this same error at other posts, but they where all too oldies, and I do not know if can ask for help in someone else's posts.
I saw that the answer is that the server is blocking the page.
Is it correct?

I am unable to recreate this error on my end. Kindly enable support mode of your site and let me know the password through DM. Also, take a backup of your site.

Support is taking too long to answer.
But I don't think it is a bad thing.
I think it means that their script is so good that there are too many people using it,and they are not being able to answer so many questions.
So, this way, I decided try to help.
I saw some people with the same problem that I had, a lot of HTTP error messages (404;503;etc.).
According to my host support, it happens because an issue with security mesures.
And those mesures can only be managed by the host manager.
So, what you have to do is call your support and convince them to change/turn off those mesures.
Or, simply change your host service for a one suited for Joomla!
After i did that, finally my site is running well.
But I don't think it is a bad thing.
