Hello,
I installed 1.6 and it rocks!

How can I enable the Greek language by default for backend and frontend? I also found the language constants and I am entering the translations through Joomla admin language overrides management, but this is not working...

Hello,

You can install 1.6.0 alpha and continue testing. You'll be able to update it to the stable version later. You can change the backend language to greek easily with the 1.6.0 alpha.

Thank You

Hello,

To change the language of sellacious backend manually, You can follow the steps from here.

However, I'll recommend the sellacious 1.6.0 alpha for testing as in this version of sellacious you can change the language of the sellacious backend without the change in any file. You just need to install the desired language and then, either you can translate it with the help of Google translator or you can do it yourself.

Below is the link for the sellacious 1.6.0 alpha. Please Check.

I hope this helps.

Thank You

Hello All,

The multilingual backend is release now with other more exciting features. However, this alpha release is only for the testing purpose only.

DO NOT update it on your live site. Below is the link for 1.6.0-alpha.

Hello Ankit. Thank you very much. It worked ok; it was what I needed. Also, I hope you release the complete multilingual Sellacious backend soon Emoticon Smile To prove it. Thank you very much. We have some translations for backend of Sellacious, to Spanish. Please tell me if you need it.
Hi Adesh,

menu.xml is used only for install/update purposes. You should probably change this in DB now. The concerned table is #__menu. The Client_id = 2. Moreover, We are making Sellacious fully multilingual in next 2 versions.

Hello. I translated/changes the menu.xml file but no changes are seen in the Sellacious backend. Why? Please help Emoticon Smile
Hi Adesh,

Joomla does not know about sellacious backend so sellacious backend would use the language whatever is set for the frontend.

You can see in the attachment that the language files loaded are those of English NOT Spanish. However, the default language of Joomla is Spanish.

Also, I can see that some parts of the backend are translatable since - as shown in the attachment - some expressions appear inside ** which indicates that is translatable (I am using Language debug of Joomla and that is the convention). Please help. How should I do to force backend office to load in Spanish (which is currently the default language of my Joomla installation itself). Thank you very much. I already sent a file already translated to Spanish which you can use for your package (sent to your email) Emoticon Smile

Hello. When I load the /sellacious webpage (backend login page), the expressions appear in English in spite of the default language of Joomla is Spanish and not English. How can I force the login page of Sellacious admin to be displayed in Spanish. As you can see in the attachment, the expressions are translatable (are inside ** - two asterisks; language debug of Joomla is activated). Please help, I need the vendor/seller backend to be in Spanish too. I am PHP developer, so please tell me where I should change while you release the new version Emoticon Smile
Hi Adesh,

As of now, Some parts of Sellacious backend can be in only one language (eg.Spanish), By 1.5.0, This would be managed by Menu Manager itself.
The menu file strings can be found in this file:
ROOT/Sellacious/menu.xml

Most of the other strings are located in:
ROOT/components/com_sellacious/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_sellacious.ini

If something is related to plugins or modules, You would find that in specific plugin/module folder.

Hello:

I have the 1.4.7 version. In the Sellacious backend I have the Backoffice Language option as Spanish, I translated the file components/com_sellacious/es-ES/es-ES.com_sellacious.ini, but yet the backend appeared in English. I found that the language is in fact loaded is en-GB, according to the info showed inside the <html> tag
lang="en-gb"
So, how can I restrict the system to load the Spanish file and not English. Please, help us. This will probably help others too.

Thank you Emoticon Smile
